How To Using Quick Lodestone Teleports In Runescape

The mighty Godless has laid low Tuska with a heck of a dent. Now, you can use your vis wax to charge up quick lodestone teleports since RuneLabs and F D C’s original idea. Besides, there are two new Grand Exchange slots without Runescape Gold from Ninjas, one each of everyone and members.

Quick Lodestone Teleports

An awesome RuneLabs idea from F D C comes to fruition today, as we bring you quick lodestone teleports. Using charges, your lodestone teleports can be made as quick as a location-specific Magic-skill teleport. Convert your vis wax to charges through its conversion interface, at a rate of 1 wax for 10 charges.

Then, you can tick the ‘Quick Charges’ check box on the lodestone map to automatically use up charges, or manually select when to use them by right-clicking a destination and clicking ‘Quick Teleport’. To use quick lodestone teleports, you’ll need to be a member, have unlocked the lodestone in question, and meet Magic level requirements for each:

  • Burthorpe – 5 Magic
  • Ashdale – 5 Magic
  • Taverley -10 Magic
  • Lumbridge – 10 Magic
  • Al Kharid – 15 Magic
  • Varrock – 15 Magic
  • Draynor Village – 20 Magic
  • Port Sarim – 25 Magic
  • Catherby – 30 Magic
  • Falador – 35 Magic
  • Edgeville – 40 Magic
  • Eagle’s Peak – 45 Magic
  • Canifis – 50 Magic
  • Karamja – 50 Magic
  • Seer’s Village – 55 Magic
  • Ardougne – 60 Magic
  • Yanille – 65 Magic
  • Oo’glog – 65 Magic
  • Rellekka – 70 Magic
  • Lunar – 75 Magic
  • Tirannwn – 75 Magic
  • Bandit Camp – 80 Magic
  • Wilderness – 85 Magic
  • Prifddinas – 90 Magic

NOTE: Check out RuneLabs, if you haven’t recently, and submit your ideas for story questions to be answered in a medium-sized quest. Getting more info, please visit

Runescape Rewards From Adamant And Runescape Dragons

Adamant and Runescape dragons are ready for battle, and bring a series of rewards. Speaking of loot, besides Runescape Gold, there are bags of it to be had for intrepid dragon slayers. Their drop tables are brimming with valuables, including some all-new rewards unavailable anywhere else.

Runescape Gold

Runescape dragons can drop items to upgrade steadfast, glaiven or ragefire boots, making level 90 power boots in all three styles. You’ll need two of the appropriate item to make an upgrade. The boots degrade, eventually reverting to their level-85 base items. Note that rune dragons only drop the upgrade components while on a Slayer task from Morvran. Elite rune dragons always have a chance to drop them.

The Kethsi ring is a possible drop from elite rune dragons, and imparts a 4% damage boost against metallic dragons when worn – 8% against those in Kuradal’s dungeon. It also gives teleports to adamant or rune dragons – which can be shared by a social slayer partner, if they’re also able to reach the dragons. The ring has five teleport charges, and is destroyed when those are used up.

Elite dragons will rarely drop a Kethsi scroll, which unlocks part of the cosmetic Kethsi outfit, styled after the long-dead mages of that world. There are murals in Brimhaven and on Kethsi which can be cleansed with a fully charged dragonfire shield at 60 and 80 Firemaking. This grants a lump of Firemaking XP, and adds words to your Dragonkin primer.

Today’s update really shows the awesome things we can accomplish through RuneLabs. This month, we’re looking for similarly monstrous high-level mobs – keep submitting, keep supporting, and look forward to more RuneLabs content in the future!

Let’s Meet In Runescape This Summer

With the summer’s coming, the Runescape has released some surprise In June. Pay close attention to the Runescape news and earn more Runescape Gold. Following are red-hot content the Runescape fans can enjoy.

Tuska is here, flying towards Gielinor with a toothy, evil grin on her face, hell-bent on the destruction of everything!

Get involved now – pick your god and earn tasty rewards like the World Eater armour as you try to save RuneScape. There’s plenty to do in this world event, so make sure you explore her back as you hurtle through space. It’s not to be missed!

Slayer Belt

The slayer belt project was one of first RuneLabs successes, suggested by the fabulous Dragonsseed.

It’s an addition to the existing tool belt, with 12 items to add to help you on your slaying escapades. No longer will you be forgetting your slayer items, with essentials such as rock hammers, slayer bells – and more – being added to the belt.

You’ll also be able to spend slayer points on adding your bonecrusher, charming imp and other useful items to the belt, saving you precious inventory space.

Adamant & Rune Dragons

Also from RuneLabs are the mighty adamant and rune dragons – as proposed by Dragonforcae!

Runescape gold

Addy dragons can be found deep within the Brimhaven Dungeon, and are a significantly tougher that their mithril cousins. They drop bars, of course, and some new bones too!

Rune dragons are definitely the kings of this update, though, worthy of their rune title. They live on Kethsi – accessible via the World Gate – and require completion of Ritual of the Mahjarrat and Fate of the Gods to access.

You’ll want to shatter their rune plating first using dragonbane, then find a way to deal with their aerial attacks and increasingly damaging dragonfire. Some of the rune dragons are even more powerful elite versions, with even tastier drop tables.

Rewards include components to add to glacor boots, make new tier 90 power boots for all combat styles. There’s a cosmetic Kethsi outfit, and a Kethsi ring that provides useful damage boosts and teleports for dragon slayers.

Hidden murals within the dungeons can unlock new dragonkin lore and chunks of Firemaking XP. You’ll also see adamant dragons in the Rush of Blood Slayer D&D.

There’ll be an Early Bird Bonus for the first 2 weeks, too: increased spawn rates of all dragons, including the elites.

Future additions to resizable

There have been a number of requests for changes and additions to resizable since we have started showing it off. To name just a few, having the interface scale with your client, adding fog and anti-aliasing. Our goal with the release of resizable mode was to get the basic functionality of making your game window bigger into Old School. This release can act as the foundation for future additions to resizable mode but for now we are sticking with the basics.

Frame rate

As you’d likely expect, making your Old School window larger with resizable mode enabled will cause the game to use up more processing power. If you see a drop in frame rate your best bet is simply to make your client a little smaller. It is worth noting that Old School does not use your graphics card. A powerful graphics card does not impact your FPS at all.

Oblivinite resizable t-shirt

We recently got in touch with Oblivinite, a name many of you will be familiar with. Oblivinite is a very talented fella who has been making some very popular Old School comics for several months now. We asked him if he would like to design a t-shirt to go in the merch store to celebrate the release of resizable mode and he excitedly agreed! This is what Oblivinite managed to create.

This t-shirt is now available from the RuneScape merch store! Whether you’re excited about resizable mode, a fan of Oblivinite or just want an awesome RuneScape t-shirt, be sure to check out the Oblivinite resizable mode t-shirt.

Runescape Death System Has Been Reworked

The Death system has been reworked by beta in RuneScape, which means the more freedom in how you reclaim your items and more leeway when things go wrong, while retaining the risk in your most dangerous adventures.

When you die – as long as you’re not in the Wilderness or in a safe area – the following applies:

Items are now stored by Death when you die. He will look after them for 24 hours of in-game time. This persists across log-outs, so disconnects are no longer a danger. You will respawn in his office.

You will be able to claim back your items in exchange for coins, by sacrificing items eligible to be lost for their coin value, or a combination of the two, using a new interface. Items that would have degraded on death, won’t do so if reclaimed from Death’s storage, as the penalty is now reflected in the buy-back mechanic.

If you choose not to reclaim items from Death immediately, your gravestone will spawn when you leave his office. Gravestone timers have been reduced, but this will allow you to reclaim items using the degrade-on-death mechanics you’re used to. If you choose to try and get back to your gravestone and don’t make it, Death will still be holding your items.

You can return to Death within 24 hour in-game hours if you wish to claim some of your items back later. Be aware, though, that dying again will wipe the stored items – only the items and equipment you were carrying during your most recent death are stored.
